FG Set to Sponsor 100 First Class Graduates Abroad

Ibrahim-Shekarau-385x336Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, Minister of Education has said that the federal government is ready to sponsor 100 first class graduates to study abroad.

Shekarau made this statement in Kano during a media parley and awards ceremony, he said “President Goodluck Jonathan instructed that best students should be screened all over the country irrespective of their locations for scholarships outside the country.”

He added that the first batch had been screened and will soon leave the country to study in the best 25 universities in the world.

He also said that some university lecturers have also been sponsored for training in the country and abroad. (The Herald)
