Decades ago especially in Africa, leftists were seen as awkward people. Their parents would even tie very heavy objects around their left wrists so as to stop them from using the left hand for eating, writing etc. That system has gone with time. Now-a-days, even in Africa, there are many powerful people who are leftists not to talk of the developed nations of the world.
