Radio presenter, Television host and author, Toke Makinwa, has revealed that her parents once joked about dying the same day and it happened.
She had in her book entitled ‘On Becoming’, revealed how a gas cylinder leaked and led to the fire incident that killed her parents when she was just 8-years-old.
And in a series of tweets, she said her parents had earlier joked about their death, which according to her, came to past.
Toke’s parents, Caleb Ifemayowa and Modupe Monica Makinwa were 35 and 34 years old respectively, when they died.
She wrote, “My parents, (God rest their souls) had the best love story ever. I was young but I remember my dad’s eyes lit up every time he saw my mum
“I remember she changed her hairstyle one time and he walked in and the first thing he noticed was her hair was different. I still remember
“They joked about dying together, perfect ride/die and it happened. They were buried side by side.”
