Chairman of the Presidential Committee on North East Initiatives (PCNI), Gen. T. Y Danjuma (rtd) and former Nigerian military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (rtd) Thursday held a private meeting.
The meeting was held at the IBB Hill Top Villa in Minna, Niger State. None of their camps has revealed the reason behind the meeting which lasted for hours.
It was gathered that the parley may not be unconnected with recent ugly developments in Nigeria.
A top source reportedly confided in PRNigeria that the elder statesmen held the private meeting for about four hours.
“This is not the first time that the duo would be meeting to proffer solution to Nigeria’s security problems.
