Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, has disclosed that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu was today booed at the secretariat of the party in Lagos.
According to the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, the APC leader was totally embarrassed after chants of Governor Akinwumi Ambode rented the air.
Fani-Kayode made this known via his twitter handle on Saturday saying people kept chanting ‘Tunubu ole… ‘
He wrote:
Bola Tinubu was booed as he approached the APC Secretariat at Acme road in Lagos earlier today. Shouts of “Ambode!” rent the air and “Bola Tinubu ole!”. Jagaban had to beat a hasty retreat and was forced to leave the place in utter shame and disgrace. How are rhe mighty fallen!

But as it is obvious, there are reports that Gov Akinwumi Ambode’s chances to grab the APC ticket for second term may be growing dimmer by the day.
Gov Ambode, aiming to woo all the 377 Councillors in the state, Saturday invited them for a meeting. Sadly, over 350 of the councillors shunned the governor’s invitation ahead of the party primary scheduled for Sunday, according to Vanguard.
“We were crossed with him for spurning all the attempts we made in the past to have an audience with him and this is payback time. He refused to meet with us when we needed him, and now he wants to curry favour with us,” a councilor from Lagos West, who deliberately absented himself from it, stated on condition of anonymity.
