Decomposing body of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, one Samuel Wanjoku, who was kidnapped last week Saturday along Ubima Omawan road in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State have been recovered in a forest in the area.
Wanjoku was a younger brother to Azubuike Wanjoku, the member representing Ikwerre State constituency in Rivers State House of Assembly. He was kidnapped alongside one Moses Ogu on their way from their village of Apani in Ikwerre Local Government after political party function.
One week after the kidnap of the two chieftains of the All Progressive Congress with no contact with the family, the remains of Wanjoku was found in a forest.
