Former Nigerian Senator from Kogi State and the presidential spokesperson for the PDP’s Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa campaign council, Mr. Dino Melaye, has mocked the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu by repeatedly falling to the ground.
The incident happened on Tuesday during the party’s presidential campaign event at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
Melaye, who was the rally’s MC, insulted Tinubu by portraying him as sick and collapsing.
Dancing, Melaye sang “Emi lokan” a song which was popularised by the Pyrates Confraternity last year (2022). The song derided Tinubu.
The health, age and certificate of Tinubu have been controversial issues which political opponents have been using to mock the APC presidential candidate.
