Renowned Nigerian actor and comedian, Denis Kaate, has passed away. The news of his death was announced by Joivan Wade on Instagram on Monday.
The statement announcing his death urged fans to pray for the family of the deceased.
“It’s with deep sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and brother, Denis Kaate has sadly passed away. We are sharing this message out of love and respect for Denis and to honor his memory. Please keep his family and loved ones in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time,” it reads.
The circumstances surrounding the actor’s death has not been disclosed as at the time of this report.
His passing marks another loss for West Africa’s entertainment community.
