Nigerian actor, Austine Emmanuel has accused Seyi Tinubu of offering financial incentives to gain support for his father ahead of the 2027 election.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Austine, speaking in Yoruba language, said Seyi should have been more mindful of his father’s legacy.
According to the actor, if Tinubu’s administration were effectively delivering the dividends of democracy, there would have been no need for financial inducements to earn support for his father’s second term.
The movie star said that Tinubu’s supporters are being motivated by financial gain rather than genuine love for his leadership.
Austine said: “Seyi Tinubu, all you are concerned about is how your dad will become the president again, but you are not bothered about the legacy he will leave behind. What will people say about him when he leaves? People around you will not tell you the truth because they are only after your money.
“People following you now will not follow you if money wasn’t involved. It’s all fake love. If President Tinubu did well, you don’t need to buy people with money before they support you.”
Speaking on the recently appointed coordinators of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a support group of President Tinubu, Emmanuel claimed that Nigerian socialites, Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest, are deceiving Seyi Tinubu.
He added, “How nice would it be if your Dad did one single thing for the masses in the last four years. Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest are just deceiving you.
“When they get to their polling unit, they can never vote for your dad. The masses are suffering. Your Dad didn’t do well. There is no food, no security and no money.”
