Nigerian actress, film producer, screenwriter, comperé, TV presenter, OAP, and philanthropist, Aniebiet Francis has shared her opinion on the importance of consent in marriage, saying a woman’s choices and boundaries should be respected during sexual intimacy.
She wrote: “As a woman, any s.ex you are not enjoying is s.ex slavery.
“When you are emotionally, intellectually and financially empowered, you will have the audacity to decide when you want sex and how your body should be treated during sex.
“Even your husband shouldn’t force it on you when you are not up for it or try new things with your body without your consent and approval.”
Aniebet post emphasizes that consent should remain a priority in marriage and that no one should be pressured into se.xual activity or practices they have not agreed to, that both partners deserve respect for their personal boundaries and choices.
