Beautiful and veteran Nigerian actress, filmmaker, singer, former model, and philanthropist, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde (omosexy), has said that she could have made a fortune through politics, but chose not to because she didn’t want money to come at the expense of her principles.
Speaking in an interview, Omotola said: “I tell people that if I wanted to be a billionaire, I could have been one easily. I’ve been offered that opportunity through politics, but I chose not to take it because it would compromise my principles.”
For the veteran actress, the decision was less about what she could gain but more about what she was willing to stand for.
She stated that some opportunities may be financially attractive, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are worth taking.
