President Bola Tinubu on Thursday held a closed-door meeting with key political actors from Rivers State in a move to resolve the prolonged crisis rocking the state.
The meeting, held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, brought together the suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule and other members of the state house of assembly.
Various sources said the session ended on a friendly note, with Fubara and Amaewhule seen holding hands and sharing laughter.
