
Remains of the illustrious Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, were laid to rest on Tuesday, July 1, in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Dantata, who passed away on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was buried at the Baqiyya cemetery, one of the most revered Islamic burial grounds.
Earlier to his interment, funeral prayers were held for the late elder statesman at the Holy Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, immediately following the Asr (afternoon) prayer.
The service drew hundreds of mourners who gathered to offer prayers for the repose of his soul.
