Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Bolaji Olanrewaju, widely known as Big Bolaji, has been laid to rest in Ibadan, Oyo State. He passed away on April 19 at the age of 50 after a brief illness.
Punch reports that a funeral service and lying-in-state were held at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, with family, friends, and gospel artistes in attendance.
Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, Yetunde Are, and comedian Woli Agba were among those present to honour his memory.
A tribute video celebrating his life and music was played during the service before he was laid to rest at All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido.
