Man reportedly commits suicide after losing N2.5m to betting

A Facebook user identified as Onoh Chukwuma reportedly took his own life by ingesting an insecticide allegedly for losing N2.5m to betting.

Onoh had on his Facebook wall posted a message saying that it was his last day on earth and that he was going to meet his maker.

Unknown to those reading the post, he had already consumed the insecticide before making the announcement.

Onoh Chukwuma Richard, the CEO of Faso Energy Limited, died by consuming sniper.

According to reports, he borrowed a huge sum of money but lost it in a bet.

In his post, he thanked some individuals, saying, “Today is my last day on earth! I’m going to meet my maker. Thank you Chima Anyaso, Ikukuoma Abia, Kelvin Jombo Onumah, Ekwueme Ohafia, and my friends. My spirit is with you all.”

Reports say that upon learning of his distress, friends rushed Onoh to Madonna Hospital, Umuahia, but that in spite of the efforts of doctors to resuscitate him, he did not survive.
