
Chief Registrar, Oyo State High Court of Justice, Ms Fatimo Badrudeen, is dead.
She reportedly died on Monday at the University College Hospital, Ibadan after a brief illness.
She has been buried according to Islamic rites.
Before her death, Badrudeen was one of those expected to be considered for appointment as a high court judge.
Mrs. Opeyemi Udoh, Public Relations Officer of Oyo State Judiciary who confirmed her death stated that “It is true that the Chief Registrar died today. She was 53 years old.”
Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has expressed sadness at the sudden death of the Chief Registrar of the Oyo State High Court of Justice, Alhaja Fatimo Badrudeen.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Makinde, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that the governor commiserated with the Chief Judge of the state, Honourable Justice Munta Abimbola and the members of the Judiciary as well as members of the late Mrs. Badrudeen’s immediate family.
