President Bola Tinubu has visited persons recovering from last Friday’s attack by armed herders on Yelewata, in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
Tinubu was received by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and the host Governor, Hyacinth Alia.
The major hosts were joined by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, other federal lawmakers from Benue State and the governors of states in the North Central zone, ministers and government appointees.
In an attack that claimed over 100 lives, the survivors (patients/victims) are recuperating at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital.
Tinubu arrived at the Nigeria Air Force Base Airport in Makurdi at about 12:58 pm on a condolence visit to Benue State.
