Olamide Adee, a Nigerian tech founder, has stirred reactions online after publicly stating that supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) should not apply to join her team or send their CVs.

In a series of posts shared on social media, Adee said she would not use her hard-earned money to employ APC supporters, claiming their political choices reflected poor judgment.

She wrote:

“If you’re supporting APC please don’t look to join my team or send a cv.
Asides the fact that I won’t be giving my hard earned money to any APC supporter, I’m also fully aware that your judgement on what is right is seriously flawed, you cannot build your life talk more of building a company.
Please don’t apply.”

The founder also reacted after some critics reportedly emailed her company to complain about her remarks.

“You see ‘co-founder’ in my bio, you clicked on the website, copied the email and tried to fire me from a company I STARTED AND LEAD?
Is something mentally wrong with APC SUPPORTERS?”

She later added: “Sending mails to my company ‘reporting’ me for saying I won’t hire APC supporters is diabolical sha.
I can see your mail, and I am THE BOSS.”

The posts have since gone viral, generating mixed reactions online. While some users supported her stance as a personal business decision, others criticized the comments and raised concerns about political discrimination in hiring practices.

The incident has further fueled conversations about politics, governance, and how personal beliefs intersect with employment decisions in Nigeria
