Nigerian movie industry has been thrown into mourning following reports of the death of veteran actor Solomon Akiyesi.
According to family sources, the actor allegedly went to bed on Sunday and did not wake up.
The tragic news was later confirmed by his wife, who reportedly confirmed his passing to close associates.
Akiyesi, known for his striking screen presence and versatility in Nigerian films, also had a reputation as an entrepreneur and was proudly associated with Ososo in Akoko-Edo, Edo State.
