A contractor working for the Senate has refunded N8 billion to the Federation Account following a motion in the Nigerian upper house on Abuse and Mismanagement of the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, made this known in a Facebook post yesterday.
He wrote: “By one motion raised on Abuse and Mismanagement of Treasury Single Account, TSA, Senate has been able to get the contractor to refund 8 Billion Naira to Federal Governments account.”
Saraki, who gave no further details, reiterated the promise of the 8th Senate to Nigerians, saying it would not be derailed in its pursuit of true development for the country because of cheap blackmail.
