The wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari, has returned from the United Kingdom (UK) where she traveled to some days ago to see her ailing husband.
She had traveled to the UK to spend some time with her husband, 23 days after the President went abroad for further medical consultations and treatment.
Mrs. Buhari said that her husband appreciates Acting President Yemi Osinbajo for his loyalty.
She made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday by her media aide, Suleiman Haruna.
According to the statement, Aisha returned on Tuesday morning from the UK, where she went to see her husband, who is on medical leave.
On arrival, she conveyed the appreciation of the President to Nigerians over their constant prayers.
She called on Nigerians to continue to be strong in the face of challenges and to support the federal government in implementing the APC agenda for which they were elected.
“Mr President thanked the acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo for his loyalty and called on Nigerians to continue to support the acting President in his effort to actualise the mandate of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC),” she said.
