Maryam Sanda, wife of the former PDP chairman’s son, Biliyaminu Bello who was alleged to have killed him, was in court for her bail application today December 7.
Maryam came to court today covering her face and cuddling her eight-month-old daughter. The court however sent her back to prison custody after her bail application was denied. See more of her photos below:

Why are they still allowing her access to the child? She is a danger to that baby and it must be removed from her custody right away. Are Nigerians really stupid to not know that an alleged killer should be kept away from a baby? That child is the offspring of the man she murdered callously and senselessly, allegedly because he was cheating with another woman. What is the guarantee that she will not kill this baby if she suspects it of doing something she does not approve of? Will the authorities forgive themselves should this suspected murderer or hurt that child? In the US, the child would have long been removed from her; you don’t lock up a baby simply because the mother ought to be locked up. Take the baby away from her right away, let the baby stay with relatives while she faces her trial.
