Another prominent medical doctor in Ondo State, Dr. Timothy Adeyeri has died of coronavirus complications.
Dr. Adeyeri who was the Chief Medical Director, CMD, of Shekinah Hospital in Alagbaka Area of Akure, the Ondo State capital gave up the ghost on Thursday at the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, in Owo.
His death came a week after another prominent medical doctor who was the Commissioner for Health in the state also died of complications from coronavirus.
Dr. Adeyeri was said to have been battling a preexisting or underlying illness before he contracted the deadly coronavirus.
Information as to the preexisting or underlying illness is still very sketchy at this time.
