Boko Haram members recently attacked Tumpun village near Lassa in the Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno state on March 26. Villagers said the sect members arrived their village at about 8am on Bicycles and Tricycles and started shooting sporadically and destroying property.
According to another Villager, Saleh Abas, the young Nigerian female soldier pictured above, identified as Oluwatoyin Ogunleye, was beheaded by Boko Haram members during their recent attack. See below, more photos of the female soldier before her untimely death.
