20-year-old Toluwalase Kembi, a pretty female student of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro (FPI) awaiting industrial training has met her untimely death in the hands of bad guys.
A visit to Ikorodu area in Lagos state sadly led to her death allegedly by boyfriend, the 33-year-old suspect, Owolabi Yusuf also known as alfa, who claimed he was paid N2m to carry out the dastardly act.
A source said that, “the deceased informed her mother before leaving, about her destination and what she was about to do. After she went missing for two days, the right authorities were contacted and her number was tracked. Though the culprit noticed that the number was being tracked, so he threw the phone and sim card into a river, but he was eventually caught at Ilorin and is presently at Elere police station at Agege in Lagos state.”
It was gathered that the victim, who lived with her parents on Orile Road, TabonTabon, Agege, had gone to sleep over in Yusuf’s place in the Ladeja area of Ikorodu, on July 28, when she was allegedly clubbed to death and her body reportedly cut into pieces for ritual purposes.
The suspect reportedly confessed to the police that he allegedly connived with three other fleeing persons, including a herbalist named Owonikoko, to kill the 20-year-old student with a pestle during her visit.
