Nigerian Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has finally defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This announcement was made by Saraki through his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Saraki tweeted: “I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

Senator Olubukola Saraki seems to have perfected the act of being a politician in the Nigerian context. What remains constant however is the carried over corruption to everywhere the senator goes. This affirmation is not limited to him alone but to all other carpet crossers and those already stucked with their nefarios political activities. Of course, Saraki’s exit from the APC group is a minors to the chances left for Buhari in his second bid to remain as the president. At the moment, there is no joy or sadness for one to feel on the latest Saraki’s action as his future party is already entrenched in anti Nigeria socio-economic and political development for what is known to be albatross corruption in waiting.
