President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the names of 46 persons to the Senate for confirmation as Ambassadors, a report from Abuja says.
“The Senate President Bukola Saraki read the President’s letter on the nominees this morning,” says an online report by the Abuja-based Daily Trust.
The report identified some of those that made the list as Usman Bugaje, Yusuf Tugar, Musa Ibeto, Senator Olorunimbe Mamora, Nurudeen Mohammed, Jamila Ahmadu-Suka, Suleiman Hassan, Musa Ibeto and Pauline Talen.
The fresh list of nominees is coming even as the Senate is yet to confirm the 47 career foreign service officers earlier submitted for consideration as Ambassadors by President Buhari.
