Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari this morning returned home after his visit to the United States of America on the invitation of the U.S. President, Barack Obama.

Muhammadu Buhari was received on arrival at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Abuja by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and some Service Chiefs.

Recall that when President Buhari was leaving Abuja for Washington DC., on Sunday, it was showering, and he had to be aided with a big umbrella to avoid being wet. The same scenario was witnessed this morning when he was welcome back home by a drizzle.

The Nigerian leader has promised to send a formal letter to Barack Obama requesting him to visit Nigeria. “Obama’s tour of Africa would be significant with visitation to Nigeria,” Buhari said. (Image credit: Femi Adesina)
