The Nigerian Supreme Court, on Tuesday, struck out the application by the Ali Modu Sheriff’s faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stay proceeding at the Court of Appeal in the Ondo State PDP governorship candidate crisis.
Also, the Apex Court has directed the Court of Appeal to continue with its proceeding on the PDP candidate’s crisis in Ondo State.
It could be recalled that last week the Appeal Court postponed Judgement on the Ondo PDP guber crisis till further notice.
With this new development, the Court of Appeal can now proceed to give its ruling on the PDP’s governorship candidate ticket.
