Court struck out eligibility suits against Buhari as Plaintiffs withdrew them

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja this morning terminated further hearing on two separate suits challenging the eligibility of Gen. Buhari, to participate in the March 28th presidential election.

The presiding judge, Justice‎ Ademola Adeniyi struck out the suits after the plaintiffs withdrew them through separate notices of discontinuance they filed before the high court. The remaining pending eligibility suit against General Buhari is the one filed by Ayakeme Whiskey. No date has been fixed for the hearing of that suit and it is not known yet whether it will be withdrawn by the plaintiff too.
