Democrats in the United States house are protesting inside the chamber in a demand for vote for gun control. The Democrats are being led by the 1960 human rights icon, John Lewis where they are shouting “no bill, no break; no vote, no break; shame, shame, shame”. They are equally singing the song: “We shall overcome ……..”
While the Democrats are doing that, the Republicans seem not to be moved. They base their stance on the fact that such a move for gun control had taken place in the US Senate but was defeated. The house speaker, Mr. Paul Ryan even said the Democrats protest is a publicity stunt. The Democrats still continue with their sit-in protest in an attempt to prevent the speaker from declaring a recess as we write this report.

Assault riffles and machine guns are needed and designed to be used in the war fronts. They are not needed on American streets and by no means should be allowed to reach the hands of deranged psychopaths who are capable of spraying the gun on innocent human beings.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the background check for anyone planning to secure such high-powered weapon as proposed by the Democrats. The check will drastically reduce the number of insane individuals who will have access to assault weapons. Consequently, the number of tragic deaths (as seen in the recent tragedy in Orlando, Florida) due to gun ownership by deranged elements will be drastically reduced.
Yes, the Dems are right and the Reps are wrong this time.
