  1. Dear Prof. Omoh…asking a person that has aired his opinion on the issue is irrelevant. What he/she is their privacy.

I am not gay myself but cannot support the idea of mistreat or maltreat people who are. Our Nigerian society is fast moving to the point of “if you don’t like this person…harm, maim, or kill them. That’s not the kind of society we should aspire to. That should and must be a some what reasonable way to handle things that are different from what we are used to. A look at some east African countries where it’s customary to kill albinos because they are different…is that what we want? I can understand that for biblical reasons many are offended by homosexuality and those who are offended by the act want to punish the people who engage in it; what about those that commit others that all kinds of immoral acts in Nigeria? Those who embezzle millions or billions of dollars in Nigeria and in the cause of that many die. Nigeria is in the way it is today because of them. I don’t see or read your pronunciation on those, yet you want to vilify some for their sexual preference.

As immoral as their sexual preference may be, it has not gotten to equal “killing” thousands of Christian Nigerians or some moslem sympathizers.

Calm down Professor and let’s keep our eyes on things that are more important. “Let’s keep our eyes on the sparrow.” Happy holidays.

  2. Fellows,

Bode Dolu’s Blog merely puts out both controversial and
uncontroversial information out there for readers to digest and react accordingly. Therefore, in all element of fairness, Bode by no means is promoting “HOMOSEXUAL ACT OR GAYISM/LEBIANISM” in Nigeria period.

  3. ARE YOU GAY? ONE IS SEEING HOW THE NIGERIAN MEDIA IS NOT HELPING TO DEVELOPE AND PROMOTE THE NIGERIAN CULTURE. HUMAN RIGHTS ARE WITHIN THE BOUND OF HUMAN CULTURE, AND NOT OUTSIDE OF IT, BUT EVERY CULTURE, LIKE EVERY SOCIETY, HAS IT’S OWN LAWS THAT PRESCRIBE DOS AND DON’TS THAT AIMS TO PRESERVE THE PEOPLES’ CULTURE. THEREFORE, HOMOSEXUAL ACT OR GAYISM/LEBIANISM IS NOT WITHIN THE MORAL PRECEPTS DICTATED BY THE CULTURE OF THE NIGERIAN NATION. IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR BODE DOLU’S BLOG TO BE PROMOTING AN ACT THAT IS UNLAWFUL IN NIGERIA. LET US PROMOTE NIGERIA BY PROMOTING THE NIGERIAN CULTURE.

    1. We want to thank our revered Professors: Prof. Omoh Ojior and Prof. Francis Onukwuli and also brother Ezimako for your time and love for this platform. We are not Gay. In fact, one of the forces behind this Blog is the author of: “The Indigenous African Criminal Justice System for the Modern World,” a 318 paged book recently published by Carolina Academic Press, North Carolina, United States. This author has been a Nigerian lawyer for more than 2 decades. Having him among us, we have been trying not to do anything that goes against the law. The essay on Gay which might have generated comments here was written by Reuben Abati PhD, former editorial board chairman to The Guardian newspaper and former SA on Media & Publicity to ex-president Jonathan.
We have intellectuals like you among our readers. We have those in the middle as well as those who don’t want to read long stories. All they want are funny/hot pictures and gist. They are in the majority among our readers and we want to keep them because the success of this platform would be determined by the number of viewers per day. That is why we try to publish stories and essays generated by seasoned writers and opinion leaders in Nigeria and around the world to satisfy intellectuals who spare their time for us while we give the hot pictures and gists to those who want them. We publish a lot of stories on African traditions and culture as well.
We are honored to have highly intelligent and brilliant academic like you among our readers. Please help us to bring more of your type to this platform by inviting them to read our Blog and we will not disappoint them. We want to conclude by wishing you and our other readers a peaceful, joyful and prosperous 2017. Many thanks.
      BDB Management.
