According to LIB, the girl in this picture is the daughter of the King & Queen of the Netherlands, Princess Catharina-Amalia and she was riding a bike to school here. Apparently, it seems good for the Dutch to see a member of their royal family acting normal.
This should be a hard lesson to Africans at home and in diaspora who tend to over-pamper their children. A local govt. chairman in Nigerian would not let his/her child ride a bike to school not to talk of a state governor. In fact, there will be standby cars and official drivers to take such a child to school. That is one of the reasons why big businesses don’t survive in Nigeria when the owners die leaving them with the children to run.
