‘If I give myself up I’ll end up in a cell’, Brussels’ airport bomber reportedly wrote

Telegraph.co.uk reports that one of the Brussels bombers has blown himself up after leaving a note why he had to do so. There might have been a video of it but that is not readily available at the moment.

It appears that the reports stating that the 3rd guy in the CCTV had been captured is not true. The position as at now is confusing.

The Telegraph (UK) wrote:

“Latest updates as bombmaker on the run after blasts kill 31 and injure 270, as it emerges one airport suicide attacker left ‘will’ on computer found in bin.”

Meanwhile, one of the suicide bombers who launched a deadly attack at Brussels airport left a note in which he said: “I don’t know what to do”.

“a note was found on a computer in a bin during a raid in Schaerbeek in which El Bakraoui wrote: “Being in a hurry, I don’t know what to do, being searched for everywhere, not being safe, if it drags on it could end up with me in a prison cell next to him”, which French media have reported is a reference to suspected Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam.”

“Local media reports on Wednesday morning suggested Laachraoui had been arrested in the Anderlecht suburb of Brussels, but these were later withdrawn.

In a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw confirmed a suspect is still on the run.”

We will continue to follow events as they emerge.
