The match looked more or less even between Nigeria and Iceland during the first half and it was nil for both teams. Nigeria came into the second half with a greater purpose.
A cross from Moses from the right wing was connected by Ahmed Musa who made it the first Nigerian goal in the 49th minute.
Musa again came from the left wing solo, dribbled the Iceland defence and their goal keeper to net the second goal in the 75th minute.
Close to the end of game, a penalty was awarded to Iceland which they failed to convert to a goal. Congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
