“Janet Jackson and husband, Wissam Al Mana are so glad to welcome their new son, Eissa Al Mana into the world,” her rep says in a statement. “Janet was said to have had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

As the world still reads in awe the story of Janet Jackson having her first child at 50, expectedly, her fans around the world have been sending her best wishes.

The Grammy awards winning singer chose a rather unpopular name for her son, ‘Eissa’. Just so you know, Janet Jackson got married to her husband Wissam Al Mana, a Qatari billionaire and businessman, back in 2012 in front of family and friends. Pundits have attributed the choice of her baby’s name to her husband’s background.

According to LIB, the name Eissa has it’s origin in Hebrew, it means “Yahweh is salvation”. Congratulations to her and her husband.
