Lagos socialite and owner and CEO of House of Phreeda, Ms. Farida Sobowale, was rescued after attempting to commit suicide by jumping into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos on Thursday evening.
The socialite in a video making the rounds, was seen attempting to jump into the lagoon from the third mainland bridge before she was stopped by a man who raised an alarm which made other motorists to stop as a back up.
Reports say, Farida made news two months ago when she held a talk of the town wedding ceremony with her man, Demola, in Lagos. There are rumors that their marriage has now packed up and that this has largely affected her mental health.
