Well said, well written by Michael above. These nonsense is spiraling out of control, these Nigerian women shenanigans nowadays. So the guy in Imo shot the girl/woman he had funded through college/university with the promise from the girl that they’ll marry after, just for the girl to suddenly jump ship onto another guy. So the guy shot her dead. This one here fooling her husband all the while deserves whatever punishment the guy deems fit for her. No problems there.
She was never his wife, he was merely a pseudo-tenant or what in the West is called a live-in partner. This is the extent our departure from African Indigenous world views. We lost our norms and values as a people, and therefore our directions in life as a Africans. These are also the conflicting and convoluted effect of our neo-colonial identities and practices. There is need for change and it must start from our academic system right from KG through University where our young ones are taught Eurocentric paradigm as solutions to life problems.
