Celebration turned sour after an SUV conveying relatives of yet to be identified persons getting married on Saturday afternoon in Ibadan was involved in an accident that claimed the life of two, according to DAILY POSTIt was reported that the SUV which was among the cars in the convoy conveying the relatives of the couple got involved in the road mishap killing the duo on the spot.
The accident occurred at Academy Area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
It was also learnt that the occupants of the SUV were probably on their way to the wedding reception. An eye witness told DAILY POST that one of the deceased whose name was given as Saidat Iya Kola is the mother of the bride.
However, the identity of the second person who also died on the spot of the accident has not also been revealed.
