The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Saturday’s Kogi West Senatorial election, Mr. Dino Melaye, says his nephew, Olorunjuwon, who was allegedly shot at a polling unit on Saturday, has died.
Melaye said, his said nephew, Olorunjuwon, died on Sunday morning.
Taking to his Twitter handle @dino_melaye on Sunday, Melaye had tweeted:
Senator Dino Melaye. (SDM)@dino_melayeMy nephew Olorunjuwon who was shot at my pooling unit yesterday died this morning. My brother your death is a Supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of our people. Rest in peace aburo… So sad.
He had also tweeted about alleged electoral frauds in certain polling units, saying his party’s vote results were being changed, tweeting:
