Nigerian government has declared Friday, 1st of January 2016 as a public holiday. The Minister of Interior, Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd) made this known on behalf of the Federal Government.
The honorable minister enjoins Muslim and Christian faithful to use the unique occasion to pray for the peace and unity of Nigeria.
