A pastor in Imo state has organized a special prayer session to pray for Donald Trump’s re-election as the president of the United States of America.
A flier for the program was shared online as the church invited people to join in the prayer session.
“International service of prayer for president Donald Trump and his re-election,” the words of the flier read.
Facebook users found it hilarious and said it’s a case of misplaced priority.
It is not surprising that the Facebook users found it hilarious because, what does this pastor in far away Owerri in Nigeria, know about American politics especially now, that he is organizing a prayer for reelection of a candidate he does not know and who does not, himself, even have a bible which is the core of christianity?
May be the pastor is looking for publicity. The pastor will be deceiving himself if he thinks he will get any favour from the man he is organizing the prayer for.
