Nigerian Senate has sworn into office, Ademola Adeleke who won last week’s vacant seat of Osun East Senatorial district on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Having taken the oath of office on Wednesday, he will replace his immediate elder brother and former governor of Osun state, Senator Isiaka Adeleke who died in controversial circumstances in May this year.

He was accompanied by his wife into the red Chambers while friends and well wishers were seen in high spirit at the lobby.

After the oath of office, he was led by the Senate protocol to the minority row where he took his seat among his colleagues.
