The meeting, to include a special intercession, will have over 30 Christian denominations in attendance.

In a notice circulated on Friday, the gathering will hold at the Old Arena, Redemption Camp, KM 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.

Pastor Adeboye will lead other top clerics including Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Ministries, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of the Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, in discussion and devotion.

The notice stated that the agenda is to pray about killings, cultism, corruption, ritualism, bloodshed, kidnapping and unemployment in the country.

It added that the intercession will last three hours – 10 am to 1 pm. Last weekend, Adeboye lamented the incessant killings in Nigeria.

Responding to those who have accused him of being silent on the situation, Adeboye said: “I am a Christian and I belong to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) which has a President. Whatever the President says is what I say.

“I am also a Pentecostal and I belong to the Pentecostal Association of Nigeria (PFN); whatever the President says is what I say. That is how to be under authority.”
