Owner of collapsed Ikoyi building, Femi Osibona, found dead

Owner of Fourscore Homes, the developing company in charge of the 21-storey building that collapsed in Lagos, Nigeria, Mr. Femi Osibona, is confirmed dead.

Osibona is said to be the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company which constructed the 21-storey building that collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria on Monday November 1.

His friend Dele Momodu shared the sad news days after it was revealed he was trapped under the rubble of the collapsed building, alongside his friend, Wale Bob-Oseni, and others.

“Good night my very dear friend and brother. FEMI FOURSCORE OSIBONA… RIP.” Dele Momodu wrote.

Bob-Oseni, was reportedly planning to catch a flight to the US, that evening and briefly made a detour to see the project on the invitation of the developer but did not walk out alive.

Nine people were rescued alive so far, sadly over 30 have been confirmed dead.
