Police officers had to be called in to settle a crisis which rocked Nigerian church, the Celestial Church of Christ, Staten-Island Parish, in New-York City.
It was gathered that the members who are mainly Nigerians (judging from their Yoruba dialect), engaged themselves in a heated quarrel between two factions to the extent that the police officers had to wade in.
In the video footage posted online, one of the church members can be heard saying ‘those people are coming back, they embezzled money and do sexual harassment in this church’.
But they were told to vacate the church premises so it could be locked down.
