Reports coming in have it that masked security operatives including both Department of State Services [DSS] and Police personnel have been massively deployed to the National Assembly Complex in Abuja on Wednesday.
It is being gathered that the unusual sight of security agents is owing to the appearance of the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris before the Nigerian Senate today.
The security officials cover the entrance to the Senate chamber and some areas of the House of Representatives.
Director-General of DSS, Mr. Lawal Daura is also expected to appear today alongside the Police Inspector General.
