Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command have rescued a 12-year-old girl, Franklyn Chioma Blessing, who was declared missing in Port Harcourt.
Chioma was rescued from a forest in Igbo-Kingdom, Etche Local Government Area of the state.
Reports have it that the girl left her house on Thursday, May 11, 2023, for school but never got to her destination.
The Police operatives were said to have stormed a forest in Igbo-Etche on Saturday, May 13, and rescued the girl.
It is unclear if the girl was kidnapped for ransom at the time of filing this report.
