A Professor of Political Science and the Director-General of the National Electoral Institute, Abubakar Momoh has died unexpectedly, according to a breaking news just published by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Details of the circumstances of his death were not immediately available.
The late academic and technocrat hailed from Auchi in Estako West of Edo State.
“Momoh was with the Lagos State University, Ojo before he was appointed the CEO of the Institute of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),” the report said.
