Saraki’s case adjourned to October 21, 22 and 23, 2015 for trial after he pleaded ‘not guilty’

Jide Adesina's photo.The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki was at the Code of Conduct Tribunal where he was to answer to a 13 count charge of alleged false declaration of assets while he was governor of Kwara state. He arrived with his deputy, Ike Ekweremaadu and many other senators. The tribunal reportedly barred live coverage of the proceedings.

In all, Saraki pleaded not guilty to all the counts and the case was adjourned to 21st, 22nd, & 23rd of October, 2015 for trial. A lot will happen between now and then.
